The lamp is topped off with a 17 diameter and 15 tall drum shade made of light beige and white textured fabric to softly distill the light from a 100W bulb. Operated by a 3-way rotary switch located on the socket, the lighting level can be easily changed between low, medium, high, and off when using a 3-way bulb. When using a regular bulb, the rotary switch turns the lamp on or off.
